Job description
Bosch, a global leader in technology and services, is seeking a Sales Manager for its Software and Digital Solutions Business Unit in Dubai. This is a high-impact role focused on driving enterprise-level software and digital transformation solutions across the Middle East. The Sales Manager will be responsible for end-to-end sales activities including lead generation, strategic account management, deal closure, and post-sale relationship building. The role demands expertise in Smart Manufacturing, IoT, MES platforms, Automation, and enterprise software solutions such as SAP and Microsoft ERP. The candidate will work closely with alliance partners, consulting firms, and internal product teams to develop customized proposals that align with client needs. Success in this role will be measured by revenue growth, customer acquisition, client satisfaction, and strategic market expansion. A proven ability to independently drive sales cycles, manage C-level relationships, and contribute to Bosch's regional growth strategy is essential.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Generate leads through partners, referrals, and events.
- Work closely with alliance partners (e.g., consulting firms, ISVs) for lead generation.
- Assess sales potential and map key accounts.
- Navigate complex, multi-stage sales processes.
- Collaborate with deal consultants during evaluations and implementations in medium to large enterprises.
- Target key accounts and build a solid pipeline with support from LOB stakeholders.
- Continuously refine your account list based on buyer behavior, competition, and market dynamics.
- Follow up with prospects to secure meetings, demos and new opportunities.
- Map and connect key decision-makers between the client and internal teams.
- Adhere to the sales process and report regularly to the Regional Head.
- Build strong, ongoing relationships with high-potential clients.
- Meet your revenue targets and stay on top of collections.
- Work with local partners and alliances to unlock more business.
Experience & skills
- MBA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Smart Manufacturing, IoT, Digitization, and Automation.
- Proven experience in solution selling to large conglomerates.
- Track record in successful sales of consultative solution.
- Experience in selling MES products, IT solutions, Automation, or IoT platforms.
- Experience in selling SAP, Microsoft ERP, or core manufacturing solutions.
- Confidence in presenting solutions independently.
- Consistent sales of software solutions to enterprise customers with $800M+ turnover.
- Opened new business in large enterprises across the Middle East, especially in the UAE.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to develop strategic proposals.
- Ability to sell to CXOs and senior leadership.
- Understanding of contracts and comfort with financial discussions.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- At least 5 years of solution sales in the UAE.
- Arabic speaking is a strong advantage.
