Job description
The Events & Experience Manager is responsible for defining, planning, executing, and managing all Sephora Middle East events and experiential marketing moments. This includes overseeing a full year events calendar aligned with business objectives, KCPs, and key moments. The role requires project management of pre-production logistics, onsite execution, and post-event analysis. The manager liaises with all stakeholders including internal and global Sephora teams, suppliers, agencies, brands, and external entities to ensure seamless execution. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with legal permits, optimizing customer experiences, maintaining accurate documentation across all phases, managing budgetary requirements, performing risk assessments, and identifying opportunities for sponsorships or activations. The manager will create and own production timelines, lead contract negotiations with procurement and legal teams, and ensure all projects meet business objectives and timelines. Post-event reporting, performance evaluation, and optimization for future events are integral to the role.

- Define, plan, and execute the full-year events and experiences calendar for Sephora Middle East
- Align all event planning and execution with business objectives, key thematics, KCPs, and major moments
- Manage all pre-production logistics and onsite execution for events and experiential marketing projects
- Liaise with internal and global Sephora teams, suppliers, agencies, brands, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution
- Build workback schedules and ensure compliance with country-specific legal permits and regulations
- Provide due diligence on planning, logistics, budgeting, and supplier selection to meet business and customer experience requirements
- Oversee project planning and 360-degree team coordination for efficient running of events
- Ensure post-event analysis and reporting is conducted timely, measuring metrics for performance improvement
- Lead contract negotiations with procurement and legal teams to align events with business objectives and timelines
- Create and manage production timelines to ensure stakeholder and business requirements are met
- Assess and identify opportunities for event sponsorships and activations
- Maintain accurate documentation and financial tracking across all phases of event production
- Plan yearly event budgets to optimize quality and efficiency while maintaining risk management protocols
- Manage administrative duties including financial project milestones and reporting
Experience & skills
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Minimum 5+ years of PR/Events experience in agency or client-side roles; managerial experience preferred
- Proven ability to coordinate and manage effective PR campaigns through multiple channels
- Experience in media, beauty, or retail environments; knowledge of beauty sector is a plus
- Willingness and ability to travel within the region
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and able to adapt to any situation
- Strong data analytical skills with the ability to derive strategic decisions from metrics
- Ability to manage multiple actions simultaneously with responsiveness and efficiency
