Job description
Wipro Limited is seeking an AWS Market Development Lead for the Middle East, based in Riyadh. This strategic role is responsible for executing the partner alliance program with a strong focus on Microsoft and AWS ecosystems, driving joint license revenue, growing a predictable sales pipeline, and influencing Wiproâs service order bookings. The role includes key responsibilities such as joint account planning, partner executive engagement, strategic GTM initiatives, and ensuring alliance influence on revenue goals. The candidate should have deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies, cloud infrastructure, and a proven record of working with large enterprise clients in the Middle East. Prior experience in alliance management or Microsoft sales is highly preferred.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Execute the strategic business plan for the partner alliance program for the region
- Build key relationships with Microsoft and Wipro field teams and with customers
- Develop a predictable pipeline of joint opportunities via differentiated propositions
- Conduct proactive joint account planning sessions for key accounts
- Consistently communicate the alliance value proposition internally and externally
- Drive and monitor cadence meetings with partner and Wipro field teams
- Recommend and manage partner sales and marketing campaigns
- Understand partner products, roadmap, strategic direction, and provide deal inputs
- Influence and facilitate global cooperation for multinational partner initiatives
- Participate in joint sales and delivery escalation resolution
- Drive execution of compliance activities related to the relationship
- Manage reporting requirements and performance metrics such as pipeline and revenue
Experience & skills
- 10+ yearsâ experience in Infrastructure and Application area on the Microsoft Technology ecosystem
- Experience in large enterprise engagements or sales leadership roles focused on Microsoft technologies
- Understanding of Microsoft field sales structure in Continental Europe and local regions
- Familiarity with Microsoft ATU, STU, PTU structures
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Azure, SharePoint, SQL, O365, System Center
- 2+ years of experience in Alliance Management
- Track record of achieving revenue or P&L goals
- Ability to engage senior-level Microsoft and client executives
- Internal stakeholder management experience in large organizations
- Self-driven with strong analytical, leadership, and collaboration skills
- Previous experience as an alliance manager with Global System Integrators is a plus
