The Senior Relationship Manager – Mashreq Gold is responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) clients, providing personalized financial services to build strong, long-term relationships while maximizing profitability and client satisfaction. This role involves deep engagement with clients to understand their financial goals, investment preferences, and risk appetite, enabling tailored advice on wealth management, portfolio growth, and financial products. The incumbent drives revenue through strategic cross-selling and up-selling of bank products, proactively identifies opportunities to expand wallet share, and ensures clients remain aware of the full suite of financial services available. The role requires rigorous monitoring of portfolio performance, mitigating potential risks including AML and fraud, and ensuring strict compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Senior Relationship Manager works to enhance the bank's market profile, actively sourcing new clients through referrals, marketing activities, and personal networking, while maintaining high levels of client retention, satisfaction, and loyalty. Effective collaboration with internal product partners and colleagues is essential to deliver seamless client experiences. The role demands strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to thrive in a competitive, results-driven environment, with a focus on ethical and compliant banking practices.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of HNW clients, providing personalized financial advisory and relationship management services.
- Achieve revenue and portfolio growth targets through cross-selling and up-selling of bank products.
- Acquire new to bank HNW clients via referrals, marketing initiatives, and personal contacts.
- Identify clients' financial needs and recommend appropriate Mashreq Gold products and services.
- Ensure superior client service experience, proactively addressing potential issues and client concerns.
- Safeguard the bank against potential losses, AML violations, and unethical behavior.
- Enhance market awareness and the bank's profile within the HNW segment.
- Monitor and minimize client attrition while optimizing portfolio profitability.
Experience & skills
- University graduate with CISI certification.
- 5–6 years of experience in a similar banking or financial services role within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, wealth management products, and portfolio management.
- Proven relationship management and networking skills with HNW clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse client backgrounds.
- Ability to achieve sales targets, cross-sell financial products, and drive portfolio growth.
- Strong ethical standards and understanding of AML and regulatory compliance requirements.
