Job description
As a Copilot Solution Engineer in the Majors Growth segment, the role leads deeply technical engagements that accelerate customer adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio & Agents, and related AI-powered productivity solutions across devices, cloud platforms, and everyday business applications. The position owns the technical win strategy, independently delivers discovery, demo, and whiteboarding sessions aligned to business goals and technical readiness, and embeds governance, security, and compliance in every conversation to build confidence and drive decisions. Responsibilities include building competitive strategy to address objections, reframing customer challenges, quantifying business impact, and guiding solution design and PoC efforts in complex selling environments. The role drives core business momentum via technical differentiation, blocker resolution, and seamless handoffs to deployment teams while operating within a virtual team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to educate customers, demonstrate and prove solutions, and win technical decisions to achieve/exceed quarterly targets. The position emphasizes operational excellence, partner collaboration, and continuous learning, with work expectations of three days per week in-office and 50â75% travel, within a culture grounded in respect, integrity, accountability, and inclusion.

Key responsibilities
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio & Agents, and AI productivity solutions to lead customer technical engagements.
- Own the technical win by planning and delivering discovery, demos, and whiteboarding sessions mapped to customer objectives and readiness.
- Build competitive strategy by identifying differentiators, proactively addressing objections, and guiding customers through resolution paths.
- Lead solution design and PoC execution, reframing challenges, quantifying business impact, and demonstrating end-to-end value.
- Embed governance, security, and compliance considerations into designs and discussions to build confidence in decision-making.
- Escalate technical blockers appropriately, push back on misaligned objections, and coordinate seamless handoffs to delivery teams.
- Execute partner sell-with motions by co-owning technical execution and serving as a trusted source of partner knowledge.
- Collaborate within a virtual team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to achieve/exceed quarterly targets.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's/Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting roles.
- L200 consultative and L400 technical certifications (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred: 6+ years technical pre-sales/consulting/technology delivery or related experience.
- 4+ yearsâ experience with cloud, hybrid, or on-prem infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, standards, and/or technology management.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect/Developer, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
- Hands-on experience with M365 Copilot and Copilot Studio.
- Ability to travel 50â75% and work three days per week in-office.
