The Marketing Manager (Hospitality & Hotel Marketing – Saudi Market) at Novotel, part of the Accor network comprising more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels, and 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to enhance the hotel’s brand presence, increase market share, and drive revenue growth within the competitive hospitality market in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on comprehensive marketing strategy development, campaign management, and brand positioning aligned with Accor global standards, ensuring consistency with the group’s vision of responsible hospitality. The position requires managing and executing digital marketing initiatives including social media management, email marketing, and online advertising, while leveraging online travel agencies (OTAs) and website content management to maximize visibility and bookings. The Marketing Manager works closely with Sales, Revenue, and Operations teams to coordinate marketing activities that optimize occupancy rates and revenue performance, particularly during peak seasons such as Hajj and Umrah. The role involves managing relationships with external agencies, media partners, and tourism stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and execution of promotional campaigns. Responsibilities include supervising marketing materials such as brochures, advertisements, website content, and promotional assets, while maintaining and enhancing the hotel’s online reputation management across booking platforms and review channels. Additionally, the role requires conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and positioning strategies within the hospitality sector. The Marketing Manager is responsible for monitoring marketing analytics, tracking performance metrics, and performing ROI analysis to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform decision-making. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office is required to support reporting, campaign tracking, and stakeholder communication. The role operates in a fast-paced environment requiring simultaneous management of multiple marketing projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.

- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote hotel services, rooms, and facilities while aligning with commercial objectives and brand positioning standards
- Manage and execute digital marketing campaigns including social media management, email marketing, and online advertising to drive customer engagement and bookings
- Oversee brand positioning and ensure all marketing activities align with Accor global standards and hospitality brand guidelines
- Coordinate marketing activities with Sales, Revenue, and Operations teams to maximize occupancy, revenue growth, and market share
- Manage relationships with external agencies, media partners, and tourism stakeholders to ensure effective execution of marketing campaigns and partnerships
- Monitor marketing analytics, performance metrics, and ROI analysis while preparing regular reports on campaign effectiveness and optimization opportunities
- Plan and promote seasonal offers, packages, and special promotions targeting local and international guests, especially during Hajj and Umrah seasons
- Supervise development and distribution of marketing materials including brochures, advertisements, website content, and promotional campaigns
- Maintain and enhance online reputation management across booking platforms, review channels, and online travel agencies (OTAs)
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and opportunities within the hospitality market
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- Demonstrate 3–5 years of experience in marketing within the hospitality or hotel industry, preferably with international hotel brands
- Exhibit strong knowledge of digital marketing including social media management, email marketing, and online advertising platforms
- Demonstrate experience working with online travel agencies (OTAs) and managing digital distribution channels
- Show proficiency in marketing tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications for campaign management and reporting
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing analytics, performance metrics, and ROI analysis
- Exhibit experience in conducting market research and competitor analysis within the hospitality sector
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Show proficiency in English communication and presentation skills, with Arabic considered an advantage
- Demonstrate experience or familiarity with the Saudi hospitality market, particularly in Makkah and peak seasons such as Hajj and Umrah
