Job description
The Manager – Transformation & Business Excellence within Al Futtaim Group Real Estate is responsible for leading the design and implementation of transformation initiatives across real estate shared services, focusing on improving operational processes, customer experience, and policy frameworks. The role drives end-to-end process improvement initiatives across multiple departments to enhance efficiency, accelerate decision-making, and establish a strong customer-centric operating model within real estate development and asset management environments. The position involves conducting detailed gap assessments of existing processes to identify performance, compliance, quality, and efficiency gaps, followed by the development, mapping, and documentation of end-to-end business processes aligned with organizational structure, delegation of authority (DoA), RACI frameworks, and governance policies. The role leads transformation and business excellence programs by designing and implementing frameworks, KPIs, and performance measurement systems that support continuous improvement and operational excellence. It also drives digital transformation initiatives by coordinating technical implementation across multiple digital systems, ensuring process deployment, system integration, workflow automation, and alignment with business ROI objectives. The Manager collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to design value chains, customer journeys, RACI matrices, and enterprise-wide process frameworks, ensuring alignment with industry best practices in real estate development and management. Additionally, the role leads workshops and training sessions for cross-functional teams to ensure adoption of new processes and transformation initiatives, while also validating business cases for new initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders. The position plays a critical role in driving organizational change management, ensuring successful execution of transformation programs across real estate operations, construction, asset management, and shared services environments within a large-scale regional real estate portfolio.

Key responsibilities
- Conduct detailed gap assessments of business processes across real estate shared services to identify performance, compliance, quality, and efficiency gaps and recommend improvement actions.
- Develop, map, and document end-to-end business processes aligned with organizational structure, DoA, RACI frameworks, and policy governance standards to ensure operational consistency.
- Lead transformation and business excellence initiatives focused on improving efficiency, customer experience, change management, and performance measurement systems across real estate operations.
- Design and implement business excellence frameworks, KPIs, and performance measurement systems to support continuous improvement and organizational effectiveness.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives by coordinating implementation across multiple digital systems, ensuring process deployment, integration, and workflow digitization.
- Identify industry best practices for process improvement and implement optimization actions, including system workflows and ROI-driven process enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design value chains, customer journeys, RACI matrices, and enterprise process frameworks for real estate operations.
- Lead workshops and training sessions for cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption of transformation initiatives and validate business cases for new strategic programs.
Experience & skills
- Apply 7–10 years of professional experience in transformation, business excellence, or process improvement roles, with GCC experience being essential.
- Demonstrate experience in real estate development, construction, asset management, or related industries within large-scale operational environments.
- Exhibit proven ability to lead cross-functional business improvement and change management initiatives across complex organizational structures.
- Demonstrate strong experience in managing projects with aggressive timelines and clearly defined deliverables in transformation environments.
- Apply strong communication skills to ensure alignment and clarity across multiple teams, stakeholders, and geographies within transformation programs.
- Possess experience in conducting process gap assessments, implementing improvement actions, and driving operational excellence initiatives.
- Demonstrate capability in leading workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities to support process adoption and organizational change.
- Exhibit working knowledge of digital systems, process digitization, and system integration supporting transformation and business excellence initiatives.
