The Senior Groups, Conferences, and Events Sales Manager at Hilton Dubai Jumeirah in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is responsible for leading the hotelâs Groups, Conferences, and Events (MICE) sales operations and supervising the Sales Coordinators and Groups Coordinator to achieve pre-established sales and revenue goals for hotel group business and event bookings. The role focuses on maximizing sales results for group events, conferences, meetings, and banquets while maintaining the highest standards of Hilton hospitality service. The position oversees the development and performance of the Groups and Sales Coordinators team responsible for coordinating and attending hotel events while ensuring service quality, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include supervising sales coordination processes, managing negotiations for group bookings and event contracts, reviewing rate structures, deadlines, waiting lists, and commission reporting related to groups, events, and Food and Beverage event coordination. The role also involves coordinating function meetings to distribute operational information for group and event activities scheduled within the upcoming ten-day period and maintaining weekly communication meetings with coordinators to ensure operational alignment. The manager works closely with Sales Managers and Revenue Management teams to ensure completion and accuracy of the entire sales process, including sales activity reporting and updates in hotel sales systems that feed into groups reporting. The role requires strong knowledge of hotel product offerings, hotel facilities, hospitality marketing, hotel operations knowledge, and competitor analysis to effectively promote the hotelâs services and position within the market. Additional responsibilities include participating in client visits, site inspections, hotel tours, and responding to unexpected client requests while acting as the primary contact between clients and hotel operational teams when necessary. The position also supports special hospitality activities such as welcome dinners for groups and secretariesâ cocktail events while ensuring all client requests receive responses within a 24-hour timeframe. The role requires maintaining communication across hotel departments to ensure compliance with brand standards and consistent delivery of customer satisfaction while fostering a collaborative working environment across operational teams. The position requires fluency in English language communication and benefits from second language proficiency, along with a graduate degree or MBA in Management, Hospitality, or Marketing and experience in hotel sales, events, or banquet operations with leadership and supervisory responsibilities.

- Supervise Sales Coordinators and Groups Coordinator to ensure delivery of hotel standard services and achievement of financial targets for groups, conferences, and events sales.
- Manage negotiations for group bookings and event contracts to maximize revenue performance for meetings, conferences, and banquet events.
- Coordinate function meetings to communicate operational details for groups and events scheduled within the upcoming ten-day period and maintain weekly communication meetings with coordinators.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers and Revenue Management teams to ensure completion of the sales process including rate management, contract execution, and accurate sales activity reporting within hotel sales systems.
- Update and maintain daily sales activities in hotel systems to ensure accurate groups reporting and operational data consistency.
- Review rate structures, deadlines, waiting lists, and commission reporting for groups, events, and Food and Beverage event coordination.
- Conduct client visits, hotel tours, and site inspections while promoting hotel facilities, services, and event capabilities to potential and existing clients.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and hotel departments to ensure effective communication, compliance with brand standards, and successful execution of group and event activities.
Experience & skills
- Obtain a graduate degree or MBA in Management, Hospitality, or Marketing relevant to hotel sales and events management.
- Demonstrate previous experience in hotel sales, events management, or banquet operations with leadership and supervisory responsibilities.
- Maintain expertise in groups and events sales management including client negotiations, rate management, and commission reporting processes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of hotel operations knowledge, hotel product offerings, and hospitality marketing strategies.
- Show ability to coordinate large-scale hotel events and manage teams responsible for groups, conferences, and banquet operations.
- Maintain proficiency in hotel sales systems for sales activity reporting and groups reporting processes.
- Possess fluency in English language communication with additional second language proficiency considered advantageous.
- Demonstrate capability to coordinate cross-department collaboration and maintain compliance with hospitality brand standards.
