Job description
Multiple bridge and transportation infrastructure packages come together under this Project Director role, based out of the site office in Riyadh. Overall leadership, strategic direction and executive management sit here, with delivery measured against client objectives, contractual requirements, budget, schedule, quality standards and HSE commitments. You'll lead multidisciplinary project teams spanning engineering, construction, project controls, commercial, quality, HSE and stakeholder management, directing the planning, execution, monitoring and completion of the works. Interfaces between bridge structures, highways, utilities, public realm works and transportation systems all need managing, alongside integration of engineering, construction and operational requirements. As the primary executive interface with the client, you'll run steering committees and governance reviews, and represent the project in high level presentations and strategic discussions. Commercial performance, budgets, forecasts and contractual obligations fall under executive oversight here, with major contractual and commercial issues negotiated and resolved as they arise. Programme recovery planning, risk management frameworks and technical oversight of major engineering and construction decisions round out the mandate, backed by a Zero Harm safety philosophy across every phase. Building and mentoring a high performing project management team matters just as much as the technical delivery, with resource planning, succession planning and talent development all part of the job.
