The role is positioned within a global multinational corporation (MNC) that is recognized as a leader in providing compliance, payment systems, and anti-money laundering (AML) solutions, working extensively with financial institutions and fintech companies to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient operational environments. This position sits within a newly established business unit, offering exposure to growth initiatives and expansion strategies across the GCC region. The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies aligned with revenue targets, focusing on driving adoption of compliance solutions including AML and know your customer (KYC) technologies, as well as payment systems tailored for fintech and financial services clients. The role requires identifying and engaging prospective fintech clients, performing detailed needs analysis, and positioning appropriate technology solutions that address regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation requirements. The candidate must manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, pipeline development, client presentations, negotiation, and closing deals, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue objectives. Collaboration with internal stakeholders such as product, delivery, and support teams is critical to ensure seamless implementation and high levels of client satisfaction. The role also involves preparing and delivering high-quality presentations to both external clients and internal stakeholders, clearly articulating value propositions and solution capabilities. Additionally, the Sales Manager is expected to provide accurate and timely sales forecasting, pipeline visibility, and performance reporting to the Regional Sales Director. A strong understanding of the GCC market, particularly within AML and KYC regulatory landscapes, is essential, along with the ability to operate independently in a target-driven environment. Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies targeting fintech companies and financial institutions to achieve and exceed revenue targets across the GCC region within compliance solutions, AML, KYC, and payment systems domains
- Identify, prospect, and engage new fintech clients by conducting detailed needs assessments and proposing tailored technology solutions that address compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), and know your customer (KYC) requirements
- Manage the complete sales cycle including lead generation, prospecting, pipeline management, client meetings, solution positioning, negotiation, and successful deal closure while maintaining accurate CRM records
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including product development, delivery, and customer support to ensure successful implementation of solutions and high levels of client satisfaction
- Prepare, customize, and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to clients and internal stakeholders, effectively communicating the value proposition of compliance and payment solutions
- Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and detailed performance reports to the Regional Sales Director, ensuring alignment with organizational revenue goals
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate proven experience in sales within fintech or technology solutions environments, with a strong preference for exposure to compliance solutions, payment systems, anti-money laundering (AML), and know your customer (KYC) technologies
- Possess a strong and demonstrable understanding of the GCC market landscape, particularly in relation to regulatory requirements, AML frameworks, and KYC processes within financial institutions and fintech sectors
- Exhibit the ability to manage full end-to-end sales cycles, including prospecting, pipeline development, client engagement, negotiation, and closing deals, while consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Show capability to independently manage workload and sales activities in a target-driven environment, ensuring consistent delivery of revenue objectives without direct supervision
- Demonstrate proficiency in preparing and delivering professional presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, clearly articulating complex compliance and payment solutions
- Display strong negotiation capabilities and commercial acumen to successfully close deals and maximize business opportunities within competitive fintech and technology markets
- Possess experience in working with or selling to financial institutions and fintech companies, with an understanding of their operational, compliance, and payment processing challenges
- Show familiarity with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely communication of sales performance to senior leadership
- Demonstrate ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product, delivery, and support to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction
- Have proficiency in Arabic language as a preferred qualification to support client engagement and relationship management within the GCC region
