Job description
The Marketing Manager - Automotive will define the overall marketing strategy and plans for Al Tayer Motors Electric Vehicle Brands, ensuring synergy, consistency, and quality in marketing approaches that align with company objectives. The role involves preparing and managing the annual marketing budget, developing and executing brand management strategies, monitoring implementation, coordinating with events management, analyzing brand performance, and conducting competitor research. The Marketing Manager will maintain relationships with principals and key external parties, while providing leadership, guidance, and development for the marketing team, ensuring training and succession planning are in place to support business goals.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare the annual marketing budget for ATM and ensure effective and efficient utilization of the budget.
- Define macro-level marketing strategy and facilitate formulation of strategies for marketing and brand management activities.
- Monitor implementation of approved marketing plans with relevant units and in collaboration with Brand GM.
- Collaborate with Events Management team for planning and execution of events.
- Review opportunities to enhance and build stronger brand equity for all represented brands.
- Monitor overall brand performance and ensure brand performance and image are consistent with expectations.
- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines as required by company and principals.
- Review brand performance reports (Key Business Indicators) and prepare analyses to facilitate sales and decision-making.
- Obtain market information through mystery shopping and research activities to monitor competitors.
- Maintain effective working relations with Principals, external parties, and remain informed of new developments.
- Provide leadership and direction to subordinates towards achieving goals and objectives.
- Guide, motivate, and evaluate subordinates on performance, identifying training needs to improve efficiency.
- Ensure team members acquire required skills and knowledge through appropriate training programs.
- Identify, develop, and train potential successors for succession planning.
Experience & skills
- Master’s Degree in Marketing.
- Minimum five to eight years of experience, with at least five years in a Senior Management role.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic (Native Arabic speaker).
- Relevant experience with brand-conscious organizations in the automotive sector.
- Experience with Electric Vehicle Brands is an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Proven track in creativity and innovation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong written and oral skills.
- Ability to support large organizations.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
