Job description
The Sales Manager role is responsible for executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth across corporate and government segments within the hotel. The position ensures that sales targets and departmental goals are achieved in alignment with the overall marketing budget. The Sales Manager monitors account production, maximizes upselling opportunities, and maintains strong relationships with key clients to secure repeat and new business. The role includes representing the hotel at trade shows and promotional events, conducting sales trips to major market areas with approval from the Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM), and identifying new market opportunities requiring coverage. The Sales Manager also gathers and analyzes competitor intelligence including rates, top accounts, and production performance across rooms, food and beverage, and events. Responsibilities include maintaining an updated client database, conducting hotel inspections for walk-ins and contracted groups, welcoming VIP guests, and collaborating with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery. The ideal candidate has at least three years of hospitality sales experience, strong familiarity with the KSA market, proficiency in Opera Cloud system, and preferably a background in a multinational five-star hotel environment.

Experience & skills
- Minimum 3 years of hospitality sales experience
- Experience in the KSA market is mandatory
- Proficiency in Opera Cloud system
- Multinational 5-star hotel background preferred
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to analyze market data and competitor activity
- Customer-focused with strong negotiation and sales skills
