Job description
The Cluster Sales Manager β Government at Riyadh Marriott Hotel is responsible for generating sales opportunities, building long-term customer relationships, and achieving personal and hotel revenue goals. The role focuses on servicing government accounts while supporting overall sales initiatives and event operations.

Key responsibilities
- Proactively solicit and handle sales opportunities from government and corporate clients
- Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers, including through sales calls, FAM trips, and trade shows
- Coordinate sales efforts with off-property channels to maximize opportunities
- Participate in sales calls to acquire new business and close existing opportunities
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence for booked business
- Provide accurate turnover to Event Management for smooth service delivery
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and economic conditions to inform sales strategy
- Understand target customers and tailor solutions to meet their needs
- Support the companyβs customer service standards and ensure guest satisfaction
- Act as a positive example for guest relations and service excellence
Experience & skills
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field
- 1β3 years relevant experience depending on education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with government and corporate clients
- Proficiency in sales strategy, CRM tools, and event coordination
- Customer-focused with ability to deliver exceptional service
- Team-oriented, collaborative, and able to coordinate across departments
