Job description
The HR Business Partner (GCC) at ENGIE acts as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to business leaders across the GCC region, supporting the organizationās people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and cultural transformation initiatives. The role involves translating business priorities into workforce strategies, providing insights on workforce planning, organization design, succession planning, and capability building while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. The HRBP leads annual performance and talent management cycles, identifies high-potential talent, and collaborates with Talent Acquisition to drive strategic hiring and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) objectives. The role also promotes employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and inclusive workplace practices aligned with ENGIE values and leadership models. The HR Business Partner manages complex employee relations cases across GCC jurisdictions, ensures compliance with regional labor laws and corporate policies, and supports transformation programs and organizational restructuring initiatives. Additionally, the role oversees HR operations including onboarding, mobility, compensation cycles, and governance while partnering with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and HR Shared Services to ensure seamless HR service delivery. The position requires experience in multinational and matrixed environments, strong HR analytics capabilities, and the ability to operate within dynamic multicultural environments.

Key responsibilities
- Translate business priorities into effective people strategies, providing strategic insights on workforce planning, organization design, succession planning, and capability building across GCC operations
- Lead annual performance management and talent cycles, develop succession plans, and identify high-potential talent aligned with organizational growth objectives
- Partner with Talent Acquisition teams to drive strategic hiring initiatives and support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) objectives across business units
- Promote employee engagement, wellbeing programs, and organizational culture aligned with ENGIE purpose, values, and leadership model
- Manage complex employee relations cases across GCC jurisdictions while ensuring compliance with local labour regulations and corporate HR policies
- Support organizational transformation programs, restructuring initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance organizational effectiveness
- Oversee HR operational processes including onboarding, employee mobility, compensation cycles, and HR governance frameworks
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and HR Shared Services teams to deliver seamless HR services and enhance employee experience
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Human Resources or related field with Masterās degree preferred
- 5ā8 years of HR Business Partner experience within multinational or matrixed environments
- Strong understanding of GCC labour regulations and regional employment laws
- Experience in workforce planning, organization design, and talent management strategies
- Proven experience managing employee relations cases and HR governance frameworks
- Experience supporting organizational development, transformation, and change management initiatives
- Strong analytical capability with HR data and workforce analytics experience
- Ability to operate in dynamic, multicultural environments and collaborate with senior business stakeholders
