Job description
The Treasury Expert is responsible for taking ownership of the administration of Takamolās financial assets and treasury activities to ensure optimal liquidity, risk mitigation, and alignment with corporate financial goals. The role manages insurance policies and insurer relationships to ensure timely claims processing, proper coverage, and minimized risk exposure while overseeing treasury operations including financial assets and liquidity planning. The position handles all insurance policies, renewals, and claims processes while maintaining relationships with insurers and liaises with banks and financial institutions regarding credit, funding, investments, and banking operations. The Treasury Expert manages and reconciles treasury control and disbursement accounts to ensure accurate reporting and oversees cash and billing reconciliation ensuring alignment between transactions and invoices. The role supports implementation and maintenance of finance strategies, policies, and procedures while continuously developing expertise in treasury management and pursuing relevant certifications. The Treasury Expert prepares and analyzes financial reports, contributes to budgeting and financial planning, ensures compliance with financial governance practices, maintains treasury operational controls, supports liquidity management decisions, and performs any additional duties assigned by the direct manager while maintaining accuracy and oversight across treasury operations.

- Manage and oversee treasury operations by administering Takamolās financial assets, monitoring liquidity planning, ensuring optimal cash positioning, supporting risk mitigation initiatives, aligning treasury functions with corporate financial goals, and maintaining accurate oversight of treasury activities while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with finance strategies and policies.
- Handle and administer all insurance policies including renewals, claims processing, and coverage evaluation while maintaining relationships with insurers, ensuring timely claim submissions, monitoring claim settlements, minimizing risk exposure, validating policy coverage adequacy, and maintaining accurate documentation for insurance management activities.
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions regarding credit facilities, funding arrangements, investments, and banking operations while maintaining professional relationships, coordinating banking transactions, supporting treasury funding requirements, monitoring financial instruments, and ensuring smooth execution of treasury banking operations.
- Manage and reconcile treasury control accounts and disbursement accounts by reviewing transactions, verifying balances, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, identifying discrepancies, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining financial integrity across treasury-related accounts.
- Oversee cash reconciliation and billing reconciliation by validating transactions against invoices, reviewing payment activities, ensuring financial accuracy, monitoring cash flow activities, resolving reconciliation discrepancies, and maintaining proper documentation and audit readiness.
- Support implementation and maintenance of finance strategies, policies, and procedures by assisting in process improvements, ensuring compliance with treasury governance frameworks, maintaining documentation standards, supporting financial controls, and aligning treasury practices with organizational objectives.
- Continuously develop treasury management expertise by pursuing relevant certifications, staying updated with treasury practices, enhancing financial knowledge, supporting process optimization, and improving treasury operational performance while maintaining alignment with organizational financial objectives.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the direct manager including supporting financial planning, assisting in budgeting activities, preparing and analyzing financial reports, contributing to treasury initiatives, and supporting operational requirements related to treasury and financial management.
Experience & skills
- Obtain a Bachelorās degree in Finance or a related field and demonstrate foundational knowledge of treasury operations, financial assets administration, liquidity planning, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial planning with preference for candidates holding postgraduate degree or professional certification.
- Demonstrate minimum of 6 years of experience in treasury management or similar financial field including hands-on exposure to treasury operations, liquidity planning, banking relationships, financial assets management, and treasury reconciliation activities.
- Demonstrate experience managing insurance policies, claims processing, insurer relationships, risk exposure mitigation, and coverage management while maintaining documentation and ensuring operational efficiency within treasury functions.
- Demonstrate experience liaising with banks and financial institutions for credit facilities, funding arrangements, investments, and banking operations while maintaining treasury operational requirements and supporting liquidity management.
- Demonstrate ability to manage and reconcile treasury control accounts, disbursement accounts, cash reconciliation, and billing reconciliation ensuring financial accuracy and reporting integrity.
- Demonstrate ability to prepare and analyze financial reports, support budgeting processes, contribute to financial planning activities, and maintain alignment with finance strategies and policies.
- Demonstrate consultancy experience as an advantage with exposure to treasury management advisory, financial planning support, and treasury process improvements.
- Demonstrate knowledge of finance strategies, policies, procedures, and treasury management practices while maintaining continuous professional development through certifications and treasury expertise enhancement.
