Job description
Assist the unit manager to ensure the smooth running of all operational activities related to the VISA Direct product (Cards, Wallets & Accounts). Ensure defined operational processes are followed in line with Policies and Procedures and UAECB regulations. Support the unit manager with various reports and requirements. Perform duties as a Team Lead/Checker for VISA Direct transactions, bulk fund transfers, UAEFTS, and other operations.

Key responsibilities
- Review and approve transactions for VISA Direct, salary payments, pension payments, book transfers, and bulk payments.
- Monitor VISA Direct queue on Payment Engine and act on necessary updates.
- Perform and validate daily EOD reconciliation for VISA Direct transactions and resolve anomalies.
- Respond to all VISA Direct related queries received via email or other mediums.
- Handle RPA BOT activities for bulk payments and monitor associated reports.
- Manage offshore activities related to payment processing.
- Review transactions against day-end reports to ensure accuracy and genuineness.
- Report exceptions and deviations to department management for guidance.
- Maintain and archive department records in an organized manner.
- Verify and approve transaction/account reconciliations and ensure resolution of outstanding items.
- Participate in training programs and train junior staff to enhance performance.
- Support the team leader in maintaining time standards, team spirit, and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with ADIB policies, guidelines, and high operational controls.
- Collaborate with the department head on automation processes involving other departments.
- Participate in monthly/periodic RCSA-GRC exercises for risk minimization and effective controls.
- Take part in periodic BCM tasks such as BIA, BCP, and call testing.
- Handle additional assignments or projects as assigned by management.
- Resolve customer disputes and inquiries efficiently.
Experience & skills
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Banking experience in cross border and domestic payments.
- Bachelorās degree.
- Thorough understanding of bank policies and product knowledge.
- Good understanding of technological issues and sound analytical ability.
- Strong PC skills.
- Knowledge of payment processes and relevant systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is preferable.
