Job description
Monthly consolidation of Saudi Aramco group results, covering the parent, subsidiaries, joint operations and equity-accounted entities, is the core of this role within the Financial Reporting Department of the Controller's Organization. The posting title refers to financial planning and performance management, while the body describes a Financial Reporting and Consolidation Specialist, so expect the work to centre on reporting and consolidation. Interim and annual consolidated financial statements, stock exchange reports and regulatory filings all depend on the closing activities you support. Complex accounting questions come to you for IFRS research and recommended solutions. Senior management receives confidential reports, forecasts and ad hoc analysis from the team, and external auditors work with you through audit and review cycles. Subsidiaries and joint ventures look to you for consistent reporting policies, and JV, M&A and strategic projects need financial reporting due diligence. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, a CPA, CA or ACCA, and at least 10 years of relevant experience, ideally including Big 4 and energy, infrastructure, utilities or government sector work. Proficiency in SAP BPC, SAP Central Finance & Group Reporting, Oracle Hyperion or Workiva is expected, along with strong English and the confidence to present at executive level.
