Job description
Presight, the region’s leading big data analytics company powered by AI, is seeking a Senior Specialist - Program Management to support the successful delivery of projects with a focus on Francophone Africa. The role requires supporting project managers in planning, execution, and completion of multi-stakeholder projects, ensuring proper documentation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. The position is vital for maintaining effective communication, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and policies. Candidates must be fluent in French and English, with experience handling complex international projects.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and milestones in coordination with project managers.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including charters, schedules, minutes, and reports.
- Monitor and report project progress and deliverables to stakeholders.
- Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, and manage logistics.
- Facilitate collaboration across teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Support resource allocation, track team availability, and resolve conflicts.
- Identify and document project risks, issues, and interdependencies.
- Assist in mitigation strategies and escalate unresolved issues.
- Support compliance with project management standards and quality checks.
- Participate in retrospectives and lessons-learned sessions.
- Help manage stakeholder communication plans and reporting.
- Act as a point of contact for project inquiries.
- Comply with QHSE, Business Continuity, Information Security, Risk, and Governance policies.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years in program/project coordination or support roles.
- Proven experience managing multi-stakeholder projects.
- Fluency in French (spoken and written) – mandatory.
- Strong communication skills in both French and English.
- Willingness to travel to Francophone African countries.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and Trello.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive problem-solving and adaptability in fast-changing conditions.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Preferred: PMP certification, experience in Africa or emerging markets, and cross-cultural communication skills.
