Job description
The Manager – Market Intelligence will play a pivotal role in providing timely, data-driven insights to support strategic decisions, policy-making, and competitiveness within AD Ports Group’s Free Zone and Staffing Cities Authority. This role requires a balance of research expertise, analytical capability, and strategic vision. The manager will be responsible for monitoring market trends, analyzing customer behavior, evaluating competitor strategies, and building intelligence dashboards and reports. The insights generated will guide leadership in identifying growth opportunities, shaping policies, and strengthening market positioning. Additionally, the role requires managing a team of analysts, ensuring continuous skill development, and fostering a culture of improvement, collaboration, and accountability.

Key responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior.
- Develop competitive intelligence reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Build and maintain dashboards and scorecards to track KPIs and market performance.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify actionable business insights.
- Provide regular briefings and presentations to senior leadership on industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and performance improvements.
- Maintain external vendor and partner relationships for up-to-date market knowledge.
- Drive the production of monthly market scorecards and annual strategic plans.
- Promote a continuous improvement culture through shared learning and problem solving.
- Manage, coach, and develop team members, ensuring optimal performance and career growth.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Data Science, Market Research, or a related field.
- Strong background in market and competitive intelligence.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets, applying advanced analytics and visualization techniques.
- Strong experience in KPI reporting, dashboard creation, and data storytelling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior leadership reporting.
- Experience in leading and coaching teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify strategic opportunities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven decision-making environment.
