Job description
The Sales Manager role at The Cigna Group is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and sits within the Sales & Marketing function, focusing on corporate markets and expatriate insurance solutions. The role is responsible for generating and following up on new business leads to meet sales and profitability targets aligned with overall business strategy, while researching and developing new business opportunities across assigned industry categories and market segments. The position requires preparing tailored, client-specific presentations that clearly articulate Cignaâs unique selling propositions versus competitors, assessing prospective clientsâ existing expatriate insurance arrangements to uncover opportunities, and acting as a trusted adviser to clients, brokers, consultants, and strategic partners on all aspects of expatriate insurance and corporate employee benefits. The role involves building and maintaining a robust distribution network of brokers, consultants, and partners, staying informed on market and competitor developments to support product development and business initiatives, and liaising with regional and international Cigna offices as well as internal departments to drive growth while maintaining service quality. Accurate management of prospective client and opportunity data using CRM software, specifically SFDC, is a core requirement. The role operates under KSA labor working hours, offers a hybrid working mode with flexibility, and provides international exposure within an organization certified as a Great Place to Work in KSA.

Key responsibilities
- Generate and follow up new business leads to achieve sales and profitability targets in line with overall strategy
- Research and develop new business opportunities within assigned industry categories and market segments
- Prepare focused, client-specific sales presentations highlighting Cignaâs USPs versus competitors
- Develop and regularly review proactive sales strategies to maximise emerging opportunities
- Assess prospective clientsâ existing expatriate insurance arrangements to identify new business opportunities
- Build, manage, and maintain a distribution network of brokers, consultants, and strategic partners
- Advise prospective clients, brokers, consultants, and partners on all aspects of expatriate insurance requirements
- Monitor client and competitor market developments and contribute to new product development and business initiatives
- Liaise with other Cigna offices to develop cross-regional opportunities
- Coordinate with internal departments in line with established procedures to generate growth while maintaining high service levels
- Participate in key projects as required by management
- Maintain accurate CRM records of prospective clients and sales opportunities using SFDC
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Business or a similar field
- Possess a minimum of 4 years sales experience in the corporate market with international exposure
- Demonstrate essential experience in corporate Employee Benefits, specifically group healthcare insurance
- Show ability to operate independently to achieve ambitious new business targets
- Exhibit numeracy and capability to analyse statistical information
- Demonstrate consultative sales, negotiation, and influencing capability
- Maintain proficiency in CRM usage, specifically SFDC, for opportunity and database management
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is preferred
