Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. The role involves managing large-scale FEED/EPC contracts for ADNOC Offshore, working closely with stakeholders, contractors, and cross-functional teams. The Project Manager will lead the execution of projects exceeding USD 1 billion in value, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, technical requirements, and ADNOC procedures while contributing to risk assessments, change management, and the mentoring of UAE Nationals.

Key responsibilities
- Provide support on Project Management activities to the UZ1.0MMBD Project team throughout all phases of execution
- Deliver all systems (equipment & facilities) from design to handover meeting project objectives
- Coordinate with PMT Project Manager and supervise Integrated Project Management Team to achieve targets
- Ensure project compliance with HSE requirements and enforce contractor compliance with policies and regulations
- Manage construction, fabrication and commissioning teams to achieve objectives
- Steward contractor activities to ensure compliance with contract and technical requirements
- Monitor contractor interfaces with EPC contractors, ADNOC Offshore Groups, and other operating companies
- Contribute to project execution strategies, scope of work, schedule, and cost estimates
- Ensure EPC contractor subcontracts are awarded and executed as per schedule, quality and cost requirements
- Support contract administration and monitor consultant/contractor performance
- Attend weekly and monthly progress review meetings with contractors and site teams
- Participate in project risk assessments and ensure mitigations are implemented
- Manage change control processes including claims evaluation and change order approvals
- Ensure project close-out compliance including as-built documentation, material reconciliation, and lessons learned
- Assist in developing UAE Nationals to take on leadership roles
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university
- Minimum 15+ years in execution of FEED/EPC contracts in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
- Minimum 5 years in GCC region (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years in similar position for mega Oil & Gas FEED/EPC projects (> USD 1 Billion)
- Experience in construction, fabrication, commissioning, and project delivery
- Strong knowledge of HSE requirements and compliance
- Proven ability in risk assessment and management of change
- Expertise in contract administration and subcontractor management
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including EPC contractors and operating companies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
