"Description": "The Personal Banking Advisor role at Emirates NBD in Dubai operates within the retail banking function of a leading MENAT-region financial services institution. The role focuses on providing financial guidance to customers by advising on suitable personal banking products and services and supporting customers with their day-to-day banking needs. The position combines achievement of individual and branch sales targets with delivery of high-quality customer service to help customers achieve their financial objectives. Responsibilities span sales, customer acquisition, and relationship management across products such as loans, credit cards, CASA, and liabilities, while ensuring strict adherence to internal bank policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. The role also requires maintaining accurate records and documentation, participating in compliance training and audits, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of personal banking products, delivering expert advice on product features and suitability, supporting cross-selling initiatives, participating in customer acquisition campaigns and events, and conducting training sessions for customers and internal teams. Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to branch sales goals across loans, credit cards, CASA, and liabilities products
- Identify opportunities for new payroll company acquisition and new customer onboarding
- Cross-sell personal banking products and services to increase market share
- Participate in customer acquisition events, campaigns, and promotional initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Ensure all sales and service activities comply with internal bank policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Maintain accurate customer records, documentation, and transactional data
- Participate in compliance training programs and internal or external audits
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personal banking products and services
- Provide expert advice on product features, benefits, and suitability to customers
- Conduct training and information sessions for customers and internal teams on banking products
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of personal banking products and services
- Exhibit excellent spoken and written English language proficiency
- Demonstrate Arabic language capability, which is considered an advantage
- Show ability to meet sales targets while maintaining high customer service standards
- Demonstrate understanding of regulatory compliance and banking policy requirements
