Job description
Budgets, forecasts and variance explanations give senior management the numbers they decide on, and this Dubai FP&A analyst produces them. Annual budgets and periodic forecasts draw on historical performance, industry trends and strategic initiatives, with assumptions validated alongside department heads. Monthly, quarterly and annual reports compare actuals against budget and forecast, and the key drivers behind the gaps are explained to management. Financial models support budgeting and forecasting, with scenario and sensitivity analysis used to test risks and opportunities. Capital investments and cost optimisation projects rely on your financial analysis. Dashboards and reports are built in FP&A systems such as Oracle EPM, Hyperion, Planning Analytics, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan or Alteryx. Purchase requisitions and orders get budget checks, including correct cost accounting code combinations. Task management and email ticketing tools within FP&A applications must work properly so service SLAs are met. Five to seven years of experience with a finance-related degree is required, including at least 2 as a financial analyst, ideally in FP&A, and Oracle or SAP experience is desirable.
