Job description
Foodics, a leading restaurant management ecosystem and payment tech SaaS provider headquartered in Riyadh with offices across UAE, Egypt, Jordan, and Kuwait and serving 35+ countries, seeks a Global Business Continuity Manager to develop, maintain, and test the organizationâs Business Continuity Management (BCM) program. The role oversees the capabilities, processes, and policies enabling an effective enterprise Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) aligned to Foodicsâ goals and compliance requirements, including establishing frameworks and methodologies for contingency plans, designing and implementing standard Risk Assessment and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) tools, and collaborating with business units to assess potential impacts, define critical time-sensitive processes, and analyze required components in line with BIA standards. Responsibilities include leading corporate-wide contingency planning/business continuity efforts; executing a Business Continuity Training Program; facilitating development, review, and revision of business continuity guides and plans within a risk management tool; ensuring BC plans reflect the current operating environment; leading plan exercises and technical testing at least annually and after significant changes; driving strategies to support and recover critical business functions during a disaster; managing regular validation and testing of documented plans; providing management and business oversight to the Global Incident Management Team; and periodically reporting BCMS status and exceptions to the Business Continuity Steering Committee. Candidates should bring 5+ years of Business Continuity management experience; a Bachelorâs degree in IT, cybersecurity, or engineering; a strong background in cybersecurity, audit, or control; the ability to translate compliance requirements and present to senior leadership; thorough understanding of risk management; and results-driven, collaborative execution. ISO 22301 standard knowledge/certification is preferable.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of enterprise Business Continuity capabilities, processes, and policies aligned with Foodicsâ goals and compliance requirements
- Lead and execute the Business Continuity Training Program to build organizational readiness
- Establish a framework and methodology for completing contingency plans by internal business units and drive ownership and accountability
- Design, build, and implement standard Risk Assessment and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) tools and capabilities
- Collaborate with business units to assess potential business impacts, define critical time-sensitive processes, and analyze required components in accordance with the BIA standard
- Facilitate the development, ongoing review, and revision of business continuity guides and plans within the risk management tool in conjunction with business units
- Lead business continuity plan exercises and ensure all technical components of the plans are successfully tested at least annually or after significant changes
- Ensure all business continuity plans are updated to reflect the current operating environment and changes in the business
- Periodically report on the status of the BCMS and inform the Business Continuity Steering Committee of significant exceptions
- Provide general management and business oversight to the Global Incident Management Team during incidents and exercises
- Drive and deliver effective Business Continuity strategies to support and recover critical business functions during a disaster
- Manage the regular validation and testing cadence for documented Business Continuity plans to ensure effectiveness and compliance
Experience & skills
- Possess 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity management with demonstrated program development, maintenance, and testing
- Holds a Bachelorâs degree in IT, cybersecurity, or engineering
- Demonstrate a strong background in cybersecurity, audit, or control and be working toward certification in business continuity planning
- Provide input to strategic decisions affecting the functional area of responsibility and translate compliance requirements into actionable practices
- Exhibit strong business acumen with the ability to decompose complex ideas into tangible outcomes and present to senior leadership teams
- Demonstrate ability to direct and inform others, cultivate strong cross-functional relationships, and coordinate with other departments to resolve escalated issues
- Show thorough understanding of risk management principles and their application within BCM and BCMS
- Preferably hold knowledge/certification aligned to ISO 22301 standard for business continuity management
