The Site Operations Team Leader role within Deliveroo’s Editions operations oversees operational performance and service delivery at a delivery-only kitchen site located in Dubai. Deliveroo Editions represents the world’s first delivery-only kitchen concept designed to enable restaurant partners to reach customers through a delivery-focused marketplace. The role supports site management in achieving operational excellence, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction within a fast-paced food delivery and logistics environment. Operating within Deliveroo’s marketplace ecosystem, the position contributes to the company’s mission of transforming the way people shop and eat by maintaining high-performing site operations and coordinating daily kitchen dispatch activities. The role requires managing dispatch processes to ensure accurate order handover to riders, minimizing errors during peak delivery periods, and maintaining efficient order flow across restaurant partners operating within the Editions site. The position is responsible for ensuring food safety compliance and operational adherence to Health and Safety (H&S) regulations by conducting routine site checks, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring regulatory and legal operational standards are upheld. The Site Operations Team Leader supervises compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensures operational processes are followed correctly, and provides coaching and supervision to team members to maintain operational standards. The role also requires active stakeholder management, maintaining professional communication with delivery riders, contractors, and neighbouring stakeholders to ensure smooth site operations and protect Deliveroo’s brand reputation. The position operates in a high-performance operational environment where tasks must be prioritized during busy service periods, and teams must be coordinated to meet operational targets and maintain consistent service levels. The role also involves monitoring operational performance through KPI targets, supporting site management in maintaining operational efficiency, and contributing to customer satisfaction outcomes. The position sits within Deliveroo’s commercial and operational ecosystem, which supports restaurant partners, grocery partners, and emerging verticals through delivery infrastructure and marketplace services. As Deliveroo operates globally and is now part of DoorDash, the operational structure may involve collaboration with global teams, systems, and leadership across Deliveroo, DoorDash, and Wolt to support scalable marketplace operations.
