Job description
The HR Analyst ā Onboarding is responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires at Al-Futtaim Group, ensuring a seamless, compliant, and positive employee experience. This role coordinates with HR business partners, line managers, and external government authorities to complete all onboarding formalities efficiently and in accordance with UAE labor laws. The position requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for data accuracy, and a customer-service mindset to handle onboarding queries, process documentation, and maintain SAP HR data integrity. Acting as a bridge between HR operations and new joiners, the HR Analyst plays a vital role in embedding Al-Futtaimās values and ensuring every new employee has a smooth start.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and respond promptly to onboarding-related queries from new joiners and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate all pre-joining formalities, including documentation, e-ticket arrangements, and hotel bookings for new hires
- Facilitate corporate induction and ensure a smooth transition of new employees into the organization
- Process and track government formalities such as employment visa, labor card, and other regulatory documentation
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and Al-Futtaimās internal HR policies during the onboarding process
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee data in SAP HR and other HRIS systems
- Collaborate with HR business partners, line managers, and other departments to resolve onboarding issues efficiently
- Develop and maintain onboarding reports, dashboards, and work-in-progress trackers
- Support audits and internal reviews by providing accurate onboarding records and documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in onboarding processes and candidate experience
- Monitor feedback and satisfaction surveys to identify improvement areas in onboarding and induction
- Advise managers and employees on HR procedures and onboarding requirements across MENA locations
- Ensure timely escalation of pending cases and maintain effective communication with stakeholders
- Demonstrate high standards of customer service and represent HR professionally at all times
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline
- 2ā3 years of relevant experience as an HR Generalist or Onboarding Specialist within the UAE or GCC
- Strong understanding of UAE labor laws and onboarding best practices
- Experience working with SAP HR or similar ERP systems for HR data management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (Arabic preferred)
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data
- Collaborative attitude with a focus on stakeholder satisfaction and service excellence
