Job description
Ooredoo is seeking a Director - IT Enablement to lead the IT transformation of its ESS (Enterprise Shared Services) platform across multiple domains including Finance, Sourcing, and Human Resources. This high-impact leadership role will align technology and digital strategies to support the groupās goal of creating unified, efficient operational processes. The director will oversee SAP architecture migration, ensure governance and roadmap alignment, and drive the adoption of new technologies. This role collaborates with both Group and OpCo leadership, reports to the Sr. Director of the Program Support Office, and participates in executive governance councils. Regional and international travel is expected.

Key responsibilities
- Govern services in alignment with the to-be architecture design and business expectations.
- Align technology and digital strategies to strengthen the ESS platform and support changing business needs.
- Implement and sustain the ESS technology platform to meet business objectives.
- Ensure architectural consistency across ESS and strategic technology initiatives.
- Align IT roadmaps and ESS strategies with business imperatives.
- Manage the ESS technology portfolio and integration with other business systems.
- Provide regular status updates and participate in executive governance meetings.
- Oversee SAP architecture migration and stabilization within set timeframes and budgets.
- Facilitate adoption of new technologies, tools, and support processes across the organization.
Experience & skills
- 10 years of senior management experience.
- Minimum 5 years of IT transformation and SAP experience.
- Minimum 5 years in the telecommunications or similar industry.
- Experience with SAP cloud technologies such as ECC, S4HANA, SAAS, ABAP, BRF+, Fiori, BTP, SAC, Oracle Fusion, and EBS.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and dev-ops delivery models.
- Experience integrating legacy applications with SAP.
- Proven experience in technology adoption, process standardization, and tool development.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and align diverse stakeholder interests.
- Strong business communication and workshop facilitation skills.
- University degree required; Masterās preferred.
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally.
