Job description
The Credit Relationship Manager – Corporate & Investment Banking Group (Manufacturing Sector) supports the Relationship Management team in maintaining, developing, and expanding corporate and institutional client relationships across the manufacturing portfolio. This role acts as a key backup to the Relationship Manager, mirroring the assigned client portfolio to ensure seamless service continuity and proactive management of client needs. The position involves frequent liaison with various internal departments such as Financial Transactions Control (FTC), Operations (OPS), Compliance, and Credit Operations to handle client transactions, documentation, and inquiries. The incumbent ensures all client documentation and credit files meet internal and regulatory standards while minimizing Material Exception Reports (MERs). Responsibilities include assisting with client onboarding, managing client communications, preparing industry research, coordinating data collection, maintaining reporting pipelines, and identifying potential business opportunities. The Credit Relationship Manager also contributes to the annual review and project allocation processes, updates PPC and RB reports, and ensures all client data and system notepads are accurately maintained. The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with risk, compliance, and operations teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions. Operating in a competitive, dynamic, and minimally regulated business environment, the position demands precision, diligence, and a solid understanding of credit processes, client portfolio management, and corporate banking operations.
