Job description
The Sales Manager (Associate Sales Manager) role at Procter & Gamble in Dubai is an entry-level leadership position within the Sales function, responsible for maintaining and expanding long-term customer partnerships while driving commercial success for global leadership FMCG brands. From day one, the role carries meaningful responsibility for developing and executing customer-specific sales strategies aligned with customer objectives, shopper needs, category performance, and market dynamics. The position involves proposing solutions, negotiating contracts and promotional plans, preparing volume forecasts and strategic plans, and managing trade marketing budgets to ensure alignment with financial targets and return on investment. The role requires end-to-end ownership of customer needs from planning through execution, developing deep understanding of product categories, shopper behavior, and country commercial guidelines, and adapting those guidelines to individual customer requirements. The Associate Sales Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams across marketing, finance, supply chain, and other departments, acts as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, resolves customer issues, and contributes to a sales culture focused on trust, teamwork, leadership, and winning. The position includes comprehensive onboarding, structured training programs, continuous mentorship, and leadership development within a dynamic and respectful work environment.

- Build deep understanding of customer needs, shopper behavior, product categories and market trends
- Adapt and optimize country commercial guidelines to meet specific customer requirements
- Negotiate customer contracts, promotional plans and innovative commercial solutions
- Prepare volume forecasts and strategic customer plans aligned with business objectives
- Manage trade marketing budgets to ensure return on investment and alignment with financial targets
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance and supply chain

- Oversee customer business needs end-to-end from planning through execution
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Sales within the FMCG sector
- Have a maximum of 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in FMCG
- Demonstrate experience in customer relationship management and account ownership
- Exhibit capability in contract negotiation, promotional planning and commercial execution
- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities in a sales context
- Show ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional team environments
- Demonstrate strong interest in Sales and Marketing with an external customer focus
- Be fluent in English; Arabic language skills are considered an advantage
