Job description

The Senior Manager - Land Use Approvals is responsible for overseeing and leading complex regulatory, permitting, and land use approval processes for a transformative giga development project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves evaluating land use proposals against Qiddiya City and District policies, regulations, and guidelines, as well as assessing proposed changes to the District and Precinct Masterplans. The position requires managing stakeholder relationships across internal teams, government ministries, architects, engineers, and community representatives, ensuring alignment of city-level strategies with the District Master Plan. Responsibilities include monitoring approval process progress, instructing consultants, maintaining accurate records of permits and approvals, procuring multi-disciplinary consultancy expertise, leading reporting to District Leadership, and coordinating with Risk Management to report all issues and risks. The role also demands strong knowledge of zoning laws, entitlement processes, regulatory frameworks, master planning, environmental impact assessments, and urban development processes, with a focus on large-scale entertainment and residential projects.
