Job description
The Portfolio Manager – Tabby Capital is responsible for executing and managing the day-to-day operations of a B2B lending portfolio across the UAE within Tabby’s working capital financing product. The role operates at the intersection of credit, operations, compliance, legal, finance, product, and commercial execution, ensuring portfolio health, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity across multiple markets. The position involves tracking and reporting Tabby Capital P&L, monitoring key lending metrics such as utilisation, repayment rates, delinquency, loss rates, and yield, and maintaining structured portfolio reporting for internal stakeholders and lending partners. The Portfolio Manager serves as the operational owner of lending workflows, ensuring consistent operational cadence, reporting discipline, and partner engagement across private credit funds and channel partners. Responsibilities include coordinating drawdowns, repayments, covenant compliance, and onboarding of new lending partners while ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and financial frameworks. The role manages channel partner performance, aligns sales and distribution efforts with portfolio capacity, and escalates performance risks as needed. It also includes oversight of collections activity, identification of emerging risk patterns, and coordination with risk teams for remediation. The Portfolio Manager acts as the primary business interface with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to UAE regulatory requirements, respond to audits, and maintain updated documentation for partner agreements and facility structures. Additionally, the role collaborates with product teams to provide operational feedback, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and contribute to product enhancements. The position requires strong execution capability, financial analysis skills, and experience in structured finance or lending environments while ensuring the lending portfolio remains stable, compliant, and performance-driven across UAE markets.
