Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial and operational audit policies, plans, and programs
• Conduct operational and financial audits to assess adequacy of internal controls
• Review information systems for reliability, integrity, and compliance
• Evaluate efficiency and economy of resource utilization across the Group
• Ensure operational practices align with organizational goals and objectives
• Maintain audit documentation and produce detailed, professional audit reports
• Present findings to management and prepare executive summaries and monthly reports
• Utilize computer-assisted audit techniques and coordinate with IS Audit
• Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff to maintain professional standards
• Participate in recruitment and evaluation of audit team members
• Investigate fraud and misappropriations, preparing detailed reports with recommendations
• Handle special assignments as directed by the Group Director – IA
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure effective audit collaboration
