Job description
The Senior Associate ā Real Estate Structuring & Advisory role at MashreqBank is a client-facing position that focuses on supporting high-value real estate debt transactions across the UAE, GCC, and global markets. The position involves evaluating real estate investment opportunities through financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence. The Senior Associate assists in transaction execution by preparing offering materials, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as legal counsel and syndication partners, and ensuring compliance with credit and regulatory requirements. The role also includes conducting market research to track trends in the commercial real estate sector and providing strategic advisory insights. This position is ideal for professionals with strong financial acumen, a background in real estate or investment banking, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, analytical environment. The role is open exclusively to UAE Nationals and requires excellent communication, analytical, and technical skills.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate real estate transactions, including valuation, cash flow projections, and risk assessment.
- Assist in the execution of high-value real estate debt transactions, coordinating with credit teams, legal advisors, and external partners.
- Conduct detailed due diligence on potential investments, reviewing property financials, market data, and regulatory documents.
- Prepare presentations, credit memorandums, and transaction reports for senior management and clients.
- Support deal origination and strategic advisory through market research and analysis of real estate trends and macroeconomic conditions.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, credit procedures, and local regulations throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Manage and maintain relationships with institutional clients, service providers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient transaction delivery.
- Contribute to the preparation of management information system (MIS) reports and department performance summaries.
- Participate in internal meetings to align on strategy, deal pipeline, and risk management practices.
- Represent the bankās values by maintaining high standards of professionalism, integrity, and client service.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or CFA is advantageous.
- Minimum of 2ā4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate finance, or related analytical roles.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, real estate valuation, and three-statement financial analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analytical and presentation tasks.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals, capital markets, and credit proposal processes.
- Knowledge of UAE-specific financial products and regulatory frameworks related to real estate debt.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects independently.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills within a fast-paced financial environment.
