Job description
Dubai's pressure and sewerage network is the focus of this Stantec project, and the Assistant Resident Engineer keeps construction on course from the consultant side. Full knowledge of the existing infrastructure across the Emirate of Dubai is essential, because decisions often have to be made on the spot. Site works span construction, sewage treatment plants and pumping stations, covering several disciplines. Consultant inspection staff work under your direction, checking that actual progress matches the construction work programme. Progress is tracked with quality assurance, quantity surveying and Primavera P3 network techniques, in line with DM guidelines. Dubai Municipality and the other service and infrastructure authorities will treat you as a regular point of contact. Instructions, specifications, reports and cost estimates are prepared here as well. This position is open to UAE nationals with a relevant degree and 10 to 12 years of infrastructure experience, including design knowledge.
