Job description
ISO, ASME, API, AWS and NACE/AMPP codes, together with ADNOC standards and project specifications, set the bar this PMC Specialist QA/QC Engineer holds the Gas CAP project to. Wood is acting as Project Management Consultant on the offshore development, and the QA/QC function you lead covers engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and vendor activities. The project Quality Management Plan and its procedures are yours to develop and maintain. Contractor QA/QC plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Control Plans come to you for review and approval, and EPC contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are subject to your surveillance, audits and inspections. NCRs, concessions, deviations and corrective and preventive actions need tight control, with root-cause analysis where findings justify it. Welding, NDT, material certification, coating and mechanical completion are among the critical quality activities on offshore fabrication and installation work. Quality KPIs and performance reports go regularly to Project Management and ADNOC Offshore representatives, who also look to you for direct QA/QC advice. Handover documentation is compiled progressively, and PMC QA/QC personnel rely on you for mentoring. Candidates bring at least 15 years in oil and gas, including lead or management-level QA/QC roles on major offshore projects in a PMC environment, ideally with ADNOC or another major Middle East operator.
