Job description
The Apigee Integration Developer role focuses on designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining API-driven integration solutions using the Google Apigee product line within an on-site enterprise environment in Riyadh. The position combines API management with predictive analytics enablement to support the identification of opportunities and risks through user engagement analysis. Responsibilities span the full API lifecycle, including implementation, customization, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of cloud-hosted integration solutions. The role involves developing API proxies, applying API policies, creating API product bundles, defining API strategies, and executing integrations aligned with consumer specifications and business needs. The developer works with Apigee Middleware (Apigee Application Integration) and integrates Apigee with Google Cloud Platform services such as GCP SQL, Google Cloud SQL, and GCP Cloud Functions. The role also covers reverse engineering existing codebases for enhancement and maintenance, managing source code through repositories such as GitHub, Git, and GitLab, and implementing secure APIs using OAuth2, OAuth, Basic Authentication, and JWT. Development includes REST, SOAP, wrapper services, SFTP-based integrations, and message queue–based services, with API contracts defined using WSDL, Swagger, and OpenAPI specifications. Exposure to Oracle Fusion and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is considered an added advantage.
