Job description
Fircosoft screening, including Firco Continuity, Firco Trust and Firco Screen and Keep, sits at the centre of this AVP role in FAB's Compliance Systems Governance and Model Validation Unit at FAB Business Park in Abu Dhabi. Second-line assurance is the unit's purpose, confirming that compliance systems meet regulatory requirements and internal policy. Sanctions screening models are validated for data integrity, performance and output accuracy, using quantitative and qualitative analysis, back testing, stress testing and sensitivity analysis. Firco rules, lists, filter settings and backend components such as decision reapplication, pairing and stripping all come under review. Validation methodologies follow industry practice and regulation, including OFAC, EU and CBUAE requirements. Findings go into detailed reports for internal and regulatory review, and MI dashboards built with Compliance SMEs support EXCO, the Compliance Operating Committee, GCC and MRMC. Periodic review plans and issue tracking keep previous findings moving to closure. Expect to bring 7 to 10 years in financial crime technology and analytics, with Java or Python, SQL, data governance, ITIL and DR/BCP knowledge, and ACAMS or CGSS as an advantage.
