Job description
Saudi Total Petroleum Products (STPP) is seeking a Production/Logistics Engineer to support its plant operations at King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh. The role involves assisting the Production Manager in production activities, coordinating with Blending and Filing leaders, and engaging with maintenance, project contractors, and quality teams. The engineer will ensure compliance with QHSE policies, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards. Responsibilities include monitoring drum and small pack filling operations, managing quarantine inventory, conducting internal audits, supporting training needs analysis, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant production environment. The role requires strong knowledge of lubricant processes, operational excellence (OEE) improvement, and adherence to manufacturing protocols to deliver safe and on-time-in-full (OTIF) production.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Implement QHSE policy requirements and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards
- Maintain plant equipment and areas in demonstrable condition, including 5S implementation
- Ensure full awareness of emergency response systems and PTW system, reporting incidents and mitigating risks
- Oversee drum filling and small pack filling operations for STPP and third-party customers, ensuring compliance with protocols
- Monitor quarantine inventory usage and ensure accurate recording in daily production
- Assist the Production Manager in conducting internal audits of production to ensure compliance with ISO procedures
- Ensure zero spillages or wastage of finished goods and packaging materials
- Support Training Needs Analysis for plant staff and develop training plans to enhance operational skills
- Promote a safe, peaceful, and collaborative working environment at the plant
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field
- Minimum 6–7 years of experience in production or supply chain roles
- Proven expertise in OEE analysis and improvement
- Familiarity with lubricant processes and ISO quality and safety management systems
- Strong command of English and proficiency with MS Office suite
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a multicultural environment
