Job description
The role involves preparing test cases and performing testing of products, platforms, or solutions deployed at client sites, ensuring adherence to 100% quality assurance parameters under Wipro’s testing methodology. Responsibilities include understanding test requirements, designing test cases, authoring test plans based on business requirements, implementing model based testing for efficient test generation, conducting peer reviews, identifying and capturing test cases with the development team, defining criteria and scope for testing, participating in UAT, automating the test lifecycle using vb macros, scheduling, and GUI automation, and designing and executing automation frameworks and reporting. The position requires developing and automating tests for software validation by setting up test environments, designing test plans, developing and executing test cases, ensuring defects adhere to project norms with clear description and replication patterns, detecting bugs, preparing defect reports, reporting test progress, releasing test dashboards at the end of each cycle, and providing usability and serviceability feedback. Additional duties include ongoing status reporting, maintaining high-quality customer interaction across communication channels, delivering on time, updating trackers such as eCube and TMS, and responding promptly to customer requests. Mandatory Arabic language skills are required.

- Author test planning aligned with business requirements and testable specifications
- Implement model based testing using Wipro’s methodology to achieve efficient test generation
- Ensure peer review of test cases to minimize rework
- Work with the development team to identify and capture test cases and ensure version control
- Set criteria, parameters, and scope for testing and participate in UAT
- Automate the test lifecycle using vb macros, scheduling tools, and GUI automation
- Design and execute the automation framework and related reporting
- Develop and automate software validation tests by setting up test environments, designing test plans, and executing test cases, scenarios, and usage cases
- Ensure test defects meet project norms with clear descriptions and replication patterns
- Detect bugs, prepare defect reports, and report test progress accurately
- Release test status dashboards at the end of each cycle to stakeholders
- Provide usability and serviceability feedback while tracing results to quality risks
- Maintain strong customer interaction via email, fault report tracking, calls, and business etiquette
- Deliver WSRs, test execution reports, and dashboard updates on time in the test management repository
- Update accurate efforts in eCube, TMS, and project-related trackers
- Respond to customer requests promptly and avoid internal or external complaints
Experience & skills
- Possess 5–8 years of experience in testing roles
- Demonstrate proficiency in understanding test requirements and designing test cases
- Show expertise in model based testing, vb macros, scheduling, and GUI automation
- Exhibit capability in test environment setup, test plan design, and test case execution
- Demonstrate ability to detect bugs, file defect reports, and report test progress
- Ensure capability to design and release test status dashboards each cycle
- Maintain strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities within testing efficiency and quality parameters
- Show proficiency in tools such as eCube, TMS, and other test management trackers
- Bring mandatory Arabic language skills
