Job description
The Private Banker, Executive Director, in Dubai with J.P. Morganās International Private Bank, is responsible for leading new client acquisition and retention for UHNW individuals and families within the UAE market. The role requires broad knowledge of investments, banking, trust services, and financial planning, ensuring delivery of a complete wealth management solution. The position emphasizes client relationship management, interdisciplinary collaboration with specialists (Investor, Capital Advisor, Trust and Estate Advisor, Wealth Advisor), adherence to J.P. Morgan risk management policies, and maximizing client satisfaction. The role also involves business development, maintaining account profiles, and adapting to a dynamic regulatory and technological environment.

Key responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new clients in the UAE, targeting UHNW individuals and families for private banking services.
- Lead the sales and implementation of investment, banking, and trust/estate products, ensuring solutions align with clientsā goals and objectives.
- Leverage and coordinate with specialists to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions for complex client needs.
- Manage client accounts to ensure completed profiles, proper servicing, and compliance with J.P. Morgan Risk Management policies.
- Build and maintain trust with clients, managing relationships to foster long-term engagement and satisfaction.
- Ensure that all proposed products and services meet client needs, maximize value, and adhere to regulatory and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and departments to optimize client service delivery and leverage cross-functional expertise.
- Monitor market trends, investments, and wealth management strategies to provide clients with timely advice and identify planning opportunities.
Experience & skills
- Significant experience in Private Banking working with UHNW individuals and families.
- Proven business development experience with a record of sales success, including prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling, closing sales, and asking for referrals.
- Strong understanding of investments, banking, and trust concepts, including asset allocation, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, deposit and loan solutions, and basic trust and estate products.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; additional languages may be advantageous.
- Strong relationship management and team-building skills, with a collaborative approach and focus on client satisfaction.
- Achievement-oriented with attention to detail and a focus on exceeding business goals.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business, regulatory, and technological environment.
- Emirati male nationals must have completed or have no obligatory military service obligations (if applicable).
