Job description
The Lead Threat Intelligence Analyst at CPX plays a pivotal role in protecting digital ecosystems by leading the collection, analysis, and dissemination of cyber threat intelligence from diverse data sources. The role requires strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills to transform raw threat data into actionable intelligence findings that inform strategic and operational decisions. The analyst will manage and optimize threat intelligence platforms, conduct advanced research into adversary behaviors, and prepare comprehensive intelligence reports, assessments, and briefings for internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities extend to defining intelligence requirements, validating analytic methodologies, and mentoring junior analysts while ensuring alignment with corporate security objectives. The position demands a strong understanding of the intelligence lifecycle, open-source intelligence methods, and cyber threat frameworks such as the security kill chain and diamond model. The Lead Analyst will drive innovation in threat intelligence processes, support situational awareness initiatives, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Threat Intelligence Centerās tools and analytical capabilities.

Key responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and distribute cyber threat intelligence from multiple all-source intelligence feeds and platforms
- Manage and optimize threat intelligence platforms and evaluate data feed efficacy
- Prepare intelligence products including reports, threat alerts, assessments, and executive briefings
- Develop and enhance corporate threat intelligence processes and standard operating procedures
- Define and validate intelligence requirements based on business priorities and emerging threats
- Conduct attribution analysis to identify adversary motivation, intent, and capability
- Contribute to situational awareness activities, providing business context to emerging cyber threats
- Lead innovation initiatives to improve intelligence capabilities, toolsets, and analytical processes
- Mentor junior analysts and foster analytical excellence within the Threat Intelligence Center
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to support informed cybersecurity decision-making
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a cyber threat analyst, threat researcher, or intelligence analyst
- Formal intelligence analysis training or intelligence application experience required
- Strong understanding of cyber-attack vectors, threat models, and adversary methodologies
- Expert knowledge of the intelligence lifecycle, OSINT tools, and threat intelligence analytics software
- Experience in malware analysis, cybercrime investigation, and security operations within large organizations or government entities
- Strong analytical, investigative, and critical thinking skills with proven tradecraft
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report preparation and briefing delivery
- Ability to operate under pressure and manage multiple concurrent intelligence tasks
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent preferred
