Key responsibilities

• Lead the section sales team to achieve targets in cash, credit, warranties and accessories
• Implement promotional activities that support higher sales
• Analyse sales data with the team and follow up on section and individual achievements
• Help sales associates close difficult transactions
• Deliver and model exceptional customer service across the section
• Resolve customer complaints and inquiries and act on CSI results
• Plan work schedules and manage breaks, working hours, sick leave and vacations
• Inspect merchandise for correct pricing and display in line with planograms and guidelines
• Recommend product range changes and maintain stock levels with relevant departments
• Secure section merchandise through security systems and measures
• Send monthly perpetual counts and operational reports to the Store Manager
• Control section costs and maintain manpower within budget
• Conduct annual appraisals and create development plans for section staff
• Train staff on store policies, procedures, safety and emergency processes
• Maintain safe, secure and well-kept working conditions in the section
