Job description
Grant Thornton UAE is hiring an IT Associate for its Information Technology Service Line. The role is open to UAE Nationals with a family book and involves first-line IT support for hardware, software, and networks, as well as support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The IT Associate will work closely with users and technical teams to troubleshoot issues, perform system upgrades, testing, and deployments, maintain system documentation, and monitor performance. The role is key to ensuring reliable IT operations across the organization and supports continuous improvement of technology services.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues via calls, Teams, and ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), including basic configuration and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with users and technical teams to ensure business requirements are met.
- Assist in system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
- Maintain documentation of support processes and system configurations.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address issues.
Experience & skills
- UAE National with a family book.
- Bachelorās degree in IT, Computer Science, IT Infrastructure, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in technical support or IT issue investigation.
- Strong communication skills to support and guide users.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of X++, Visual Studio, SSRS, and Power BI is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and spoken English.
