Job description
The Onboarding Officer - Compliance & AML (Client Lifecycle Management) role within Edenred UAE operates within the Compliance department in a hybrid Dubai-based environment. The position is responsible for managing the full client onboarding lifecycle across a regulated fintech and payroll services ecosystem supporting over 15,000 businesses and 2.2 million unbanked employees. The role ensures end-to-end compliance with regulatory frameworks including Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Business (KYB), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements. The officer conducts screening of trade names, beneficial owners, and authorized signatories using internal screening tools and performs ongoing periodic reviews across low, medium, and high-risk profiles. The role requires collaboration with Sales, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding processes, accurate documentation, and adherence to internal and external regulatory standards. Responsibilities include managing multiple onboarding cases simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of compliance checks, supporting AML audits of business partners, maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensuring continuous improvement of onboarding workflows. The role also involves oversight of internal compliance processes, execution of mandatory AML training programs, escalation of non-compliance issues, and support for regulatory audits and partner assessments. The position requires strong organizational capability, documentation accuracy, risk awareness, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced regulated environment while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws, internal policies, and financial services regulatory obligations.
