Job description
The Intern – Energy & Decarbonization role at DP World in Dubai is a full-time, on-site internship supporting the execution of the organization’s Energy Transition Plan and decarbonization targets. The role contributes to forward-looking decarbonization initiatives, supports identification and deployment of alternate sustainable fuels across ports, terminals, logistics, and marine fuels operations, and assists with integration of the decarbonization roadmap into broader business planning. The position focuses heavily on data analytics and reporting, including analysis of CO2 performance data using Microsoft Excel and Power BI to develop dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams such as HSE, Sustainability, and Finance to support decarbonization initiatives, applies quantitative and analytical techniques to large datasets, and contributes to project management activities across multiple concurrent tasks. The internship provides exposure to renewable energy concepts, sustainable fuel pathways, and real-world decarbonization strategies within a global logistics and ports organization, over a defined three-month duration with immediate start.

Experience & skills
- Hold or be a recent graduate with a degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and visualization
- Demonstrate familiarity with decarbonization principles, renewable energy, and sustainable fuel pathways
- Demonstrate ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable insights
- Be available for a full-time, on-site internship of three months with immediate start
