Job description
This role delivers IT Internal Audit and Technology Risk services within a consulting environment. The Senior Consultant leads and supervises fieldwork, performs IT risk assessments, evaluates IT controls across systems and networks, and produces audit plans and reports. The position provides advisory recommendations on IT governance, IT operations, and risk mitigation, while communicating findings to clients and supporting business development efforts. The role also involves mentoring junior staff and staying current with emerging technology trends that impact audit processes.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate junior auditors during IT audit fieldwork
- Develop IT audit plans, scopes, and risk assessments
- Conduct ITGC, application controls, and technology risk reviews
- Prepare high-quality audit reports and documentation
- Provide recommendations on IT controls, security, and risk mitigation
- Communicate findings and action plans to clients
- Monitor follow-up actions and remediation progress
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and their audit impact
- Support business development, including proposals and presentations
- Train and mentor junior staff
- Manage multiple projects in parallel and deliver within deadlines
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of IT audit, tech risk, or IT risk management experience
- Technical understanding of IT systems, networks, and IT controls
- Experience executing IT audit methodologies and risk assessments
- Ability to manage multiple engagements under pressure
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Adaptability to fast-changing environments
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members
