Job description
Project Resale materials and services, Non-Project purchasing and Logistics all fall within the remit of this Senior Specialist in Schneider Electric's Services and Solutions procurement team in Al Khobar. The project procurement strategy you build supports hub growth, profitability and cash flow, with total cost of acquisition improving over time. Each project gets a Procurement Plan and Execution Strategy developed with Project Managers and Coordinators. Framework agreements with qualified 3rd party suppliers and sub-contractors give SES PA a competitive cost position during bids and protect gross margin during execution. RFQs, bid panels, commercial evaluations, PO award and PO administration through to close out are handled end to end. Risk management plans guard against cost and schedule overrun and keep supply continuous. Logistics support covers seaworthiness packing and delivery of completed systems to customer sites, while trade compliance, customs and import/export documentation must be right every time. Digital tools help streamline the process, and SAP with SRM is the main platform. Candidates bring a Supply Chain or Engineering degree and at least 7 years in process automation, EPC or large Oil & Gas procurement, including sub-contract services and international sourcing.
