Job description
Strategy&âs Ideation Center is expanding its Behavioral Insights Unit and seeking a Behavioral Science Manager to lead and manage the design and implementation of behavioral interventions across various sectors, including healthcare, environment, and public policy. This two-year full-time role involves end-to-end project management, team leadership, and deep collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will apply behavioral science principles to solve real-world challenges through diagnostics, research, and experimentationâshaping the future of government policy and strategy. Youâll be working within a dynamic think tank environment that combines Strategy&âs global expertise with localized impact, delivering meaningful change across the MENA region.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of behavioral science projects including proposals, project timelines, content, and client management.
- Lead and manage a team of behavioral scientists and data analysts.
- Implement thorough behavioral diagnostics using mixed methods such as surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
- Design and lead behavioral interventions and solutions for public policy applications.
- Oversee implementation and monitoring of behavioral field experiments.
- Analyze secondary and primary data using statistical software.
- Develop research questions and methodologies including data collection and analysis plans.
- Identify and integrate behavioral science opportunities in ongoing projects across government and various sectors.
- Translate client needs into structured research problems using behavioral science.
- Identify relevant academic literature and frameworks to support behavioral analysis.
- Conduct and manage various behavioral and policy research activities.
- Tailor behavioral science content for diverse audiences and contexts.
- Develop and deliver training materials and workshops on behavioral science applications.
- Author reports, policy briefs, and academic-style publications in collaboration with editorial teams.
- Keep abreast of scientific advancements in behavioral insights relevant to policy and government.
- Support ad hoc research activities and internal initiatives as required.
Experience & skills
- Masterâs degree in behavioral science, economics, neuroscience, decision science, social sciences, social policy or a related field.
- 8+ years of managerial and applied research experience in behavioral science or impact evaluation.
- Experience in behavioral science consulting, strategy consulting, or similar fields.
- Demonstrated experience running and analyzing qualitative and/or quantitative research.
- Prior work experience in social impact consulting, think tanks, or international organizations is highly desirable.
- Strong project management and consulting skills.
- Advanced statistical and research methodology capabilities.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is strongly preferred.
