The Business Intelligence & Research Manager at AlixPartners is a dual-role leadership position focused on driving business insights and leading the Middle East track of the firmâs Business Analyst Program. Based in Riyadh, this role combines research and intelligence expertise with people management responsibilities. The Manager will oversee a cohort of Business Analysts, ensuring their professional growth and alignment with AlixPartnersâ standards, while simultaneously delivering actionable business intelligence to support consulting engagements, market development, and strategic decision-making. The role requires exceptional analytical capabilities, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex research deliverables in a fast-paced, high-performance consulting environment.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Business Analyst team in Riyadh, overseeing onboarding, development, and performance management.
- Collaborate with EMEA Business Analyst leadership to implement best practices and enhance program quality in the Middle East.
- Design and deliver region-specific training programs to foster skill development and professional growth among analysts.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with analysts to provide feedback, mentorship, and performance assessments.
- Oversee staffing and resource planning for analysts, aligning project needs with individual development goals.
- Support recruitment activities for future cohorts of Business Analysts based on business priorities.
- Perform independent research and market analysis to deliver insights for business development and client engagements.
- Provide macro- and micro-level market intelligence across industries and sectors relevant to AlixPartnersâ consulting focus.
- Produce research reports, financial analyses, and strategic insights to support pitches, RFPs, and proposals.
- Identify emerging business opportunities through trend analysis, competitive intelligence, and market scanning.
- Collaborate with consulting teams to develop targeted insights that enhance client deliverables and engagement outcomes.
- Deliver presentations and reports to senior stakeholders, summarizing key findings and strategic recommendations.
- Support fund and account management through detailed research and portfolio reviews.
- Manage and maintain a repository of key business development materials and intelligence assets.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing between Riyadh and London-based business intelligence teams.
- Uphold AlixPartnersâ values by fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture within the research and analyst teams.
Experience & skills
- 6â8 years of experience in business intelligence, research, or market analysis, ideally within a professional services or consulting firm.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams across multiple functions or regions.
- Deep understanding of industry research methodologies, tools, and business intelligence frameworks.
- Strong experience with GCC markets and regional business dynamics.
- Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency highly advantageous.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and coordinating complex research initiatives.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools and their application in research or data analysis.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Experience supporting business development through research-driven insights and proposals.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and engage team members.
- Valid residency in Saudi Arabia or ability to obtain one (with company support).
- Willingness to occasionally work outside regular business hours to meet project demands.
