Job description
IT projects and demands from companies across the Al Rostamani Group pass through this IT Project Manager in Dubai, from first assessment through delivery. Scoping, planning, resourcing and reporting follow IT project management standards, working closely with the PMO. Demand requests are analysed and turned into proposals with business representatives, and procurement of the chosen solution is supported with Business and IT procurement teams. Change requests are governed through building, testing, implementation and documentation, with risks managed across stakeholders. Vendor contracts are aligned with internal IT SLAs, and relationships with IT departments, suppliers and customers are kept strong. Project budgets, the project team and a unified set of IT processes and procedures all fall under your management. UAE Nationals are invited to apply for this role. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in IT, PMP certification and 3 to 4 years as a project manager with full lifecycle experience and strong MS Project skills, with PMI-ACP, ITIL and Scrum certifications an advantage.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Manage IT projects with the PMO, covering scoping, planning, resourcing and reporting to standard
- Govern a unified set of IT processes and procedures with IT process owners
- Oversee change request processes, coordinating build, testing, implementation and documentation with stakeholders
- Sustain relationships with IT departments, vendors and customers
- Align IT supplier contracts with internal IT SLAs to improve service
- Develop and motivate project staff to deliver efficiently against IT strategy
- Control project financials to deliver within the allotted budget
- Deliver assigned IT demands end to end
- Analyse demand requests from companies across the Group
- Prepare IT demand proposals with business representatives
- Support solution procurement with Business and IT procurement teams
- Monitor demand execution and handle escalations where needed
- Mentor IT and business teams on selecting the right solution
- Liaise between business and IT to acquire solutions that fit business goals and IT governance
- Contribute to solution enhancement discussions and resolve conflicts
Experience & skills
- Be a UAE National
- Hold a bachelor's degree in an IT field
- Possess PMP certification
- Add PMI-ACP, ITIL or Scrum certification (advantage)
- Bring 3 to 4 years of experience as a project manager
- Demonstrate experience delivering the full project lifecycle
- Lead and motivate project teams
- Use MS Project to an excellent standard
- Apply strong analytical, commercial and interpersonal skills
